- MIDLOTHIAN - James L. Finzel, 84, died Tuesday at his home. Born in Barton, Dec. 1, 1903, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Carrie (Crowe) Finzel. His wife, Beulah (Hendershot) Finzel, died in 1966. A retired coal miner, he was a member of Midlothian Local 4904, United Mine Workers of America, and a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Brode, Midlothian; a brother, Raymond Finzel, Key West, Fla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home in Frostburg Wednesday. Services will be conducted there Thursday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Jack E. Sallie and the Rev. James E. Johnson. Interment will be in Union Grove Cemetery, Cumberland.
