FROSTBURG - Hubert N. (Bud) McKenzie, 73, of Finzel, died yesterday in West Virginia Medical Center, Morgantown. Born in Frostburg, he was a son of the late Clarence and Louella (Steinla) McKenzie. He was a retired employee of the Grantsville Branch of the Liberty Trust Co. and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pocahontas, Pa. Mr. McKenzie is survived by four sons: John McKenzie, William McKenzie, both of Frostburg; Jerome McKenzie, Finzel; and James McKenzie, Hancock; six daughters: Mrs. Mary Anges Burner, Mrs. Catherine Twigg, Mrs. Juanita Kelsay and Mrs. Carol Frost, all of Frostburg; and Mrs. Wilda Deal, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Judy Rodeheaver, Friendsville; sisters Mrs. Gladys Ravenscroft, Mrs. Mary Layman and Mrs. Evelyn Winners, all of Frostburg: three brothers, Arthur McKenzie, and Carroll McKenzie, both of Frostburg and John McKenzie, Grantsville, and 20 grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Hafer-Sower Funeral Home. The Cumberland Sunday Times, April 6, 1975 Hubert N. Surviving are his wife, the former Virgie Minnick; four sons, John and William McKenzie, both of Frostburg; Jerome McKenzie of Finzel; and James McKenzie of Hancock, Md.; and six daughters, Mrs. Mary Agnes Burner, Mrs. Catherine Twigg, Mrs. Juanita Kelsay and Mrs. Carol Frost, all of Frostburg; Mrs. Wilda Deal, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Judy Rodeheaver, Friendsville; and 20 grandchildren. He was also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Ravenscroft, Mrs. Mary Layman and Mrs. Evelyn Winners, all of Frostburg; and three brothers, Arthur and Carroll McKenzie, both of Frostburg, and Carlton John McKenzie, Grantsville. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday morning in St. Mary's Church, Pocahontas. Interment in Finzel Cemetery. Meyersdale Republic, April 10, 1975 He was buried in Finzel Cemetery, Finzel, Garrett Co., Maryland.
