- Hoffman - Lois A. Jenkins, 52, of Hoffman, died Sunday, March 3, 2002, at Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 4, 1949 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Henry Vincent Ross and Evelyn (Blubaugh) Ross. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, David Vincent and John Russell Ross; and one sister-in-law, Margaret Ann Ross. She was a member of the Vale Summit United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband of 29 years, Robert Jenkins; two sons, Jeffrey David Jenkins and wife Michele, Frostburg, and Timothy Charles Jenkins, Frostburg; one daughter, Laurie Ann Crowe and husband Edward, Frostburg; two granddaughters, Cherise Morgan Jenkins and Kayla Renee Crowe; nieces and nephews she raised, Jill Renee Dover and husband Kevin, Atlanta, Ga., Melissa Ann Ross, Frostburg, and John Vincent Ross, Frostburg; one special grand-nephew, Ezra Dover; one sister, Louise Bridges and husband Ed, Barrelville; one sister-in-law, Martha Ross, Winchester, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Lois was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and special grandma. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, PA, 60 W. Main St., Frostburg, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating.
