Minnick was honored on her 90th birthday with a party given by her sons at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter G. Minnick, 124 South Water Street, Frostburg, with whom she resides. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. James Minnick and son David; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Combs and Lena; Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Minnick, Mr. and Mrs. John Stevens, John and Kevin; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Barmoy, and Debra Minnick. Mrs. Minnick was born in Garrett County and is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Blocher. Her husband was the late Edward Minnick. She has nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The Cumberland News, September 26, 1967 Annie was widowed by 1920. I can find no further information for Edward. She died on 26 Dec 1969 at the age of 92 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. FROSTBURG — Mrs. Annie B. Minnick, 92, of 124 South Water Street, died yesterday. A native of Garrett County she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Sophia (Anderson) Blocher and was the widow of Edward R. Minnick. She was a member of Frostburg United Methodist Church. Surviving are four sons, Bernard P., Akron, Ohio; Wilford I., LaVale, and James E. and Walter G. Minnick, both of here; nine grandchildren; 18 great-granchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Services will be conducted there tomorrow at 3 p. m. by Rev. Merle D. Correll. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carl Ruffo, Steven Kenney, Gary Barmoy, William Shuck, John Stevens and Leroy Himmelwright. The Cumberland News, December 27, 1969
