Evelyn T. Bolden, 93, of Meyersdale, died on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002, at Beverly Healthcare in Meyersdale. Born on Dec. 30, 1908, in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late Noah A. and Annie N. (Housel) McKenzie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger E. Bolden; and two brothers, W. Homer McKenzie and Orland A. McKenzie. Surviving are a brother, Harry B. "Mac" McKenzie, Meyersdale; nephew, Bruce Y. McKenzie; and niece, Kathryn Ann McKenzie. She was a former employee of Baer and Co., Meyersdale, and was a former owner of the Bolden Shoe Store in Meyersdale. She was also a member of the Amity United Church of Christ, Meyersdale. Friends will be received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, with the Rev. Bruce Ashlock officiating.
