He was born June 29, 1920, in Barton. He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Mary; and brothers, Don and Vernon. Lewis moved to Michigan in 1952 to work in the construction business, leaving the coal mines behind. Mr. Warnick was employed for over 20 years as a laborer for the Oscar Frazho and Wineberger Construction and for 13 years by Mount Clemens Public Schools. He will be missed by his brothers, Allan (wife Bonnie) Warnick, of Romeo, Mich., Edward (wife Ann) Warnick, of South Carolina and David (wife Dorothy) Warnick, Thomas (wife Fran) Warnick and Robert Warnick, all of Maryland.

Warnick, 88, of Mount Clemens, Mich., passed away early Friday morning, Nov. 14, 2008, at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township, Mich. He was born June 29, 1920, to Clarence and Mary (Broadwater) Warnick in Lonaconing. He was predeceased by his parents, and two brothers, Don and Vernon. Lewis was employed for twenty years by the Oscar Frazho Company, and for thirteen years by the Mount Clemens School District. Surviving is his wife, Mary E. (McKenzie); a son, William Warnick, of Harrison Township, Mich.; and five brothers, Allen (Bonnie) Warnick, of Romeo, Mich., Edward (Ann) Warnick, of South Carolina, David (Dorothy) Warnick, Thomas (Fran) Warnick, and Robert Warnick, all of Maryland.
