  Notes	November 08, 2008, Cumberland Times-News ~ Leonard Francis McKenzie, 81, of Finzel, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at his residence. Born Sept. 1, 1927, in Grantsville, he was the son of the late Raymond McKenzie and Lula (Robeson) McKenzie. Leonard was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gilbert McKenzie and Austin McKenzie; and two sisters, Cecilia Dugan and Ann Fowler. Mr. McKenzie was em-ployed at Sears and retired after 28 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia Mae (Broadwater) McKenzie; one son, Stephen Ray McKenzie, of Frostburg; three daughters, Brenda Mae Westfall, of Williamsport, Lynette Francis Bittinger, of Frostburg, and Cecilia Lorraine McGuire, of Frostburg; one brother, Paul McKenzie; one sister, Mary Emma Warnick; one special grandson, Justin Samuel Baer, of Cumberland; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Leonard had too many family and friends to mention them all, but he loved them dearly. The family would like to especially thank Loretta and Mary with Garrett County Home Hospice. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Ann’s Catholic Church, Avilton, on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Father Patrick Besel as celebrant.
