- Jesse J. Weimar was born August 25, 1855 at Elk Lick, Pa., of Dutch ancestry; he died March 14, 1922 at his farm near Loyal, being 66 years, 6 months and 19 days old. He was united in marriage to Nancy Elizabeth Crowe of Frostburg, Md., March 29, 1880. To this union were born nine children, five sons and four daughters, one son and one daughter passed away in infancy. Those living are R.E., C.H., Ben F., and Soy O.: the daughters are Mrs. Hugh Trosper, Mrs. Willus Van Horn and Mrs. Ferd Sherer. Mr. Weimar moved with his family to Kansas in 1883, where he lived until the opening of Oklahoma. He was one of the 89ers and homesteaded the old Sutton place, north of town. He sold the latter place and moved to a farm near Loyal, Okla., where he remained until his death. He leaves to mourn his departure a wife, seven children, seventeen grandchildren and a host of friends. He was a good neighbor, an ideal husband and father. The funeral took place from the Catholic Church Thursday, March 16, at 3 p.m., Rev. A.C. Taeyeats, the Pastor, officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Kingfisher Cemetery. The large attendance attested to the high esteem in which he was held in the community. Kingfisher Times, Kingfisher, OK
