Born Sept. 1, 1911, in Avilton, she was the daughter of the late James Henry and Mollie Frost Turner. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of the Old St. Ann's Shrine, Avilton, and Christian Mothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Byard McKenzie. Surviving are one daughter, Mary Ann Minnick and husband, Elmer, Avilton; and a number of step-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The rosary will be recited on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. Services will be conducted at the Old St. Ann's Shrine, Monday, Nov. 3, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. William Moody officiating. Interment will be in the St. Ann's Cemetery, Avilton.
