  Notes	AVILTON - Ray Harrison Brown, 77, of Avilton, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 1998, at his residence. Born May 23, 1921, in Salisbury, Pa., he was a son of the late William and Lela (Harding) Brown. Mr. Brown was retired from the spinning department of Celanese Fibers Corporation, and was a member of Old St. Ann's Catholic Church, Avilton. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Leora Elizabeth (McKenzie) Brown, whom he married on Feb. 23, 1945; and one sister, Blanche Maust, Salisbury, Pa.; also, a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer services will be conducted on Saturday at noon in the funeral home with the Rev. William Moody officiating. Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited on Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
