Notes	Sanford B. Robinette, 86, of Cresaptown, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital where he was a patient three weeks. He had been in ill health a year. A native of Centerville, Pa., he was a son of the late Henry C. and Minerva (O'Neil) Robinette. He retired from the Celanese Corporation of America 19 years ago after 29 years service. Surviving are his wife, Lena H. (Grant) Robinette; three daughters, Mrs. Jesse Bane, Kirby, W. Va.; Mrs. Gordon Hershberger and Mrs. Ada Cecil, Cresaptown; one son, Cecil E. Robinette, Lovettsville, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Harry Carroll, city; one brother, Hayes E.Robinette, Cresaptown; 14 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The body is at the John J. Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, Winchester Road and Route 40, where friends will be received from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. A service will be conducted at Cresaptown Methodist Church Saturday at 2 p. m. Rev. William Balderson will officiate and interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park. The Cumberland Evening Times, May 23, 1963.
