    • FROSTBURG - Elmer "Ben" Myers, 84, formerly of 82 Washington Street, Frostburg, a patient at Frostburg Village Nursing Home since July 27, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1993 at Memorial Hospital. Born on March 9, 1909 in Lonaconing, he was the son of the late Benjamin B. and Anna Belle (McKenzie) Myers. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Cecil B. Myers. Mr. Myers retired from Hercules. He was a partner in Myers Market. He was a member of Frostburg United Methodist Church and past master of Mt. Lodge 99 A.F.& A.M. Surviving are his wife, Mary Adele (Blank) Myers; one son, Benjamin C. Myers and wife, Carol, Millington; two daughters, Marlene Layman, at home; Donna Jean McMurdo and husband, Dan, Keyser, W.Va.; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The body will be cremated. Memorial services, which will be private by request of the family, will be conducted at the Frostburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. George A. Aist officiating.
