Harkins, Theresa J.(McKenzie), born Nov. 29, 1846, in Vinton Co., on Aug. 17, 1865, married Michael Harkins.
She died Oct. 1, 1889, of consumption, with burial at Saint Joseph Cem., Circleville. Michael, was born July 14, 1842, and according to the Circleville Democrat and Watchman of Feb. 11, 1887, in Michael's obituary it states that he was "born in County Donegal, Ireland, and came to this county when a youth. In December 1961 he enlisted in Co. E., 73rd 0. V. I. and served a term of enlistment... He was elected Jack¬ son Co. Trustee... an industrious, quiet man and good citizen, greatly respected in the community where he lived." Michael and Theresa had lived near Willliamsport when he died Feb. 4, 1887, with burial at Saint Joseph Cem. They were the parents of Margaret Crayne, Charles, Mary Daugherty, Martha, Samuel and Michael.
