The many acquaintances of William Cunningham and Miss Rose Della McKenzie were delighted to congratulate them upon their being united in marriage yesterday. Rev. C. Boyd Jones, pastor of the M.E. Church performed the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents at Borden Shaft at 8 o'clock. The bride was becomingly gowned in a grey traveling dress with hat and gloves to match and carried carnations. The groom wore the conventional black. After the ceremony all were invited to the dining room, where a very tempting wedding supper was laid, and all enjoyed the good things amidst mirth and good will. A reception was held from 9 to 10 p.m., at which time they received the blessings and best wishes of their many friends for a long journey over the matrimonial sea. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. McKenzie of the Shaft, and one of that place's most agreeable young ladies. Frostburg - Mrs. Rosa D. Cunningham, 79, Klondyke, died yesterday at her residence. She had been in failing health the past ten years. Born in Loartown she was a daughter of the late John Frank and Annie (Loar) McKenzie. Her husband, William H. Cunningham, preceded her in death. She was a member of the Lord Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Milnor Bruce, Cumberland, and Mrs. George M. Greco, Sacramento, Calif.; an adopted son, Jack L. Burner, Frostburg; a sister, Mrs. Charles Harvey, Borden Shaft, and seven grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Cumberland evening Times, November 5, 1962
