- FROSTBURG — Jerry Lee McKenzie, 59, retired Master Sergeant, U.S.A.F., died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 1995 at Richland Memorial Hospital, Columbia, S.C. Mr. McKenzie was born April 16, 1936 in Frostburg, a son of the late Ernest B. and Jennie Stevenson McKenzie. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, serving 20 years. He was formerly the owner of McKenzie & Sons Heating and Air and was last employed by Baker Brothers, Inc. He formerly taught at Grand Strand Career Center and Horry-Georgetown Technical School. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn McKenzie; two sons, Jerry L. McKenzie, Jr. of North Myrtle Beach, S.C. and James E. McKenzie of North Myrtle Beach; two daughters, Mrs. Cindy Crowe of Myrtle Beach and Mrs. Terry Parker of North Myrtle Beach; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline J. Powell of Falling Waters, W.Va. and Mrs. Nancy J. Mont of Louisville, Ky.; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. at Covenant of Life Church of God.
